[Pictures posted above]My Objective: Rolling stand for home gymI wanted a rolling TV stand to put downstairs with the exercise machines (treadmill, elliptical, bike, etc). A rolling stand allows the TV to be moved where easily viewable from each machine, so no neck craning to see. The room I am using this in has a tiled floor so the wheels work just fine on it.LED TV Size:The TV I mounted is a 32" COBY LED, purchased specifically for this (for $204 on Amazon). It is larger than the 23 inches listed as the maximum size, but it only weighs about 16lbs, so I thought I could get away with it. I was right, it handles the 32" screen just fine and is very stable.Mounting Bracket:As was mentioned in another review, I had to pick up an additional wall-mount bracket to attach my TV. This stand DOES come with a bracket, its shown in the picture. But its small, probably 5" x 4", and the VESA mounting holes on the back of my set were 8" apart. So I needed something that would fit the TV screw holes and then allow me to attach the smaller included bracket. I went to Lowes and found a universal flat screen mount for 23-36 inch sets that did the trick. It cost about $50. (Had I not wanted to get it put together right then, I'll bet I could have found a cheaper one right here on Amazon).-- SO the lesson here is... if the mounting screw holes on the back of your TV are not the spacing described (10cm X 10cm and 7.5cm X7.5cm), you WILL need an additional bracket.Modification for DVD/Cable box shelf:This is just an fyi...I wanted to be able to attach some kind of bracket or shelf to this stand that would hold my blu-ray player.I ended up buying this simple little bracket for this purpose:Β  VideoSecu DVD DVR VCR Wall Mount Bracket for DVD Player DSS Receiver Blu-Ray Media VCR Stereo Cable Box - Adjustable Electronic Component Shelf Holder 1XU (I'd already used three of these throughout the house wall-mounted and I love them) It was a very easy modification to make this work with the Audio2K stand. The Audio2k stand uses two black 'pipes' for the adjustable vertical post. The top section retracts into the slightly larger bottom section to allow for height adjustment. The top section has 3 or 4 holes in it intended for inserting a chrome safety bar to prevent the post from slipping down. I measured the spacing between the two top holes in the post and took the VideoSecu bracket and compared its wall mounting holes to the Audio2k post hole. They were a little off so I had to drill one additional hole in the VideoSecu bracket to allow me to mount the VideoSecu bracket to the Audio2k post using 2 appx 2in bolts. But it worked like a champ and now I have a compact TV stand complete with a wifi blu-ray player that can go anywhere I want it.Other notes:Height: The height of this stand is smaller than I thought from the picture, although the description is accurate at 36-48". I would have preferred it to be taller. Especially when I realized the wall mount bracket I bought has the attachment point very near the top of the back of the TV. Had I used as recommended, my TV on this stand would only be about 50 inched from top-of-TV to floor. [I basically jury-rigged the mounting bracket so the stand attaches close to the bottom of the TV. Now the my TV on this stand is about 60 inches from top-of-TV to the floor.]Wheels: As I mentioned above, I'm using this on a tiled floor and these wheels are just fine. However they are small and I think might be problematic on carpet, not sure it would roll easily.Tilt: Someone asked in other reviews if the TV can be tilted. Yes, the attachment point has an vertical tilt adjustment. There are two thumbscrew-like-bars that when loosened allows the TV to be tilted down or up several degrees and then tightened to lock in place.All-in-all this stand is a good value compared to some others, and I would definitely recommend. The remaining 'tweaking' I'm planning is to attach a power-strip to the horizontal bar (with mic holders on each end) and run my TV and Blu-Ray wires there. But wait, there's more!Couple of weeks ago I purchased a field/location teleprompter system (search QuickPrompt Teleprompter, but not on Amazon) -- the kind that doesn't mount on a plate with the camera -- and figured this stand would be a nice fit for the LCD monitor and teleprompter system. It is because the monitor mount will tilt back to 90-degree angle (in other words, flat, with the monitor facing up towards the ceiling, or in my case, up to the teleprompter mirror).The entire setup is quite sturdy and rolls easily, although the wheels are of cheap plastic. I also like the ease in height adjustment, and it is secured with a pin and handled clamp. The monitor mount and tilt mechanism are solid, heavy duty metal. Once you have the plate attached to your monitor/TV you can lift it in and out of the stand-mount after removing a pair of set-screws (bolts) that hold the monitor plate to the stand-mount (it'll make sense when you see it in person. I just can't describe it very well :-)Product was packaged well and arrived via UPS without any dings in the cardboard box. I have a pair of Samsung 260HD monitors that I've used for years and decided to mount one on a portable stand for use as an additional monitor for my laptop. This stand works perfectly. As I said earlier the only issue s the cheap plastic wheels but even that isn't terribly bad just a little annoying.PROS: Well built solid construction.
