Review: Works great with InogenOne G5 - I had been using the shoulder strap bag that came with my portable concentrator. It was nice but uncomfortable for longer distances. That’s what made me look into getting a backpack for my device. After much research I decided on this bag from O2TOTES USA. Coincidentally, it is comes from/is made right in my own city. This bag is nice and has a lot going for it. My InogenOne G5 concentrator fits nicely but not too snuggly. It could be a little more snug, to be honest, but I have not found this to be a problem. There is a mesh side pocket that fits my water tumbler nicely and would also be good for an umbrella, and another side pocket that is smaller and good for keys, inhaler, meds, etc. There is also a front pocket that I haven’t found a use for yet. The waist strap is pretty much useless in my opinion but I did opt to attach and use the optional chest strap as the bottom of the bag was slightly digging into my back and adding the chest strap alleviated that. I will probably cut the waste strap off but am waiting to see if I find a use for it. There is a zipper on the right (when you’re wearing the bag) to run your nasal cannula through. This is nice but from there the line of the cannula can get into awkward positions and I am still figuring out what works for me. All in all this is a great choice if you’re using the same concentrator and are looking for a backpack for it. Can the straps be adjusted enough to lower the backpack to fit around the waist line. My wife wants to play golf using it and wants it to fit lower** A: Don’t think that would be a good idea. The weight of the Inogen5 requires it to be strapped fairly snug. Assuming it would have to be on the lower back, in order to perform a golf swing, I would think that could cause bruising to the lower back and tops of the side hips. Depending on the O2 requirement of wearer, the G5 pulsates As high as 6 liters. As a golfer, I wear the cánula as I ride in the golf cart. When I get out to hit the ball, I take the cánula off, and take deep purging breaths as I go to hit my ball. Having a Blue Flag due to my condition, I drive up right to my ball. This way it has not been a problem. The backpack is mostly designed for long walks, shopping malls or lite jogging. **Q: Is there a separate compartment big enough to carry two extra double inogen one g5 batteries?** A: No. this is a lightweight backpack. You have 4 pockets in this backpack for keys, wallet, phone, etc. You can put a double battery in side pocket but, not 2.
