I read a lot of reviews and saw a few people state the material was " like cardboard " . Maybe the fabric is different depending on the color but the black ones are incredibly soft. I ordered other colors that have not arrived yet, once they do I'll update the review. I am 5'10" , 190 lbs with very muscular thighs. The X large has plenty of room. The waist is very forgiving and would fit someone larger than me. The cuffs around the ankle area are very comfortable. No digging or tightness at all. These are my new favorite comphy pants :)UPDATE on other colors !I received the pink with white stripe and the dark gray . Both are just as soft as the black ones!!! But if you try to squeeze into them they will not be good, they will stretch and show everything. I am 5’8, 300 lbs. normally a 24, 22 if it has some spandex and is meant to stretch. These fit very nicely. They were slightly baggy which is what I was going for. They’re a good lounging pair. Can be work out in public but remember, they are a little thin. I do think for the material they’re a little expensive... A good length for my height and i can wear them high waisted or at my waist or on my hips whichever. It fits great. I will be buying other colors for sure. You can’t even tell i look pregnant and i am not lol.
