I used western digital to Maxtor or Toshiba even no name brands. So far I been using these segates for most of my storage and they just work and no fuzz, I will continue to use segate drives for my storage needs. I wasn't expecting much, being a 5900RPM drive, but this guy copied huge disk images lickety-split with >145MB/s sustained writes all the way through. The caution signal is typically when there are tens of thousands of hours- I once purchased a refurbished drive with 52,000 hours on and the same yellow Caution symbol in CrystalDiskInfo. I don't know what would cause the Caution signal to be on if it has zero hours, but if you've seen Ferris Bueller's Day Off, you know the odometer can be reset. Perhaps it was done in a way that recalibrated it and extended the life. But anyways, I've had a 52,000 hour drive work fine, so it's not a big deal if this has 30,000 hours on it. But It would be nice to know if it was reset.
