Review: Highly Recommend for Surround Sound!!! - Quality sound, Quality performance, Easy to install and can be placed anywhere. I used the end tables, my coffee table and then put together to pieces of decorative wood art behind my sofa to make the full spectrum of sound. They work perfectly!!!
Review: Not bad! Against drywall, great bass, decent treble. - These are really fun - you can turn any surface into a speaker. I mounted a couple in the attic on the reverse side of my ceiling drywall. While 5/8" drywall clearly isn't the best medium for these, the sound is still quite satisfactory. Bass is particularly rich, while the treble has a bit of a "tinny" sound. I did have some trouble with the attached adhesive pads on one of the two, which refused to stick even after thoroughly cleaning the area. I ended up gluing it with Liquid Nails, which appeared to do the trick. On a medium such as glass (the key is thin, light, and rigid), you're likely to get much better sound quality. However, it's still a fair bet that these will do better in the bass range.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Im assuming these have an impedance rating, but its not listed or mentioned; whats the impedence rating, in ohms?**
A: According to what I've found elsewhere, 8 ohms of impedance, 5 watts RMS, 10 watts peak.

**Q: Will they work pressed up against a surface for temporary location or does it have to be stuck on with the adhesive?**
A: Pressing them against the surface will prevent the transducer from vibrating. They work just like a speaker, minus the cone. They can be relocated. New 3m double sided works or hot glue's great too.

**Q: Mine has stopped working. Do these run out of battery over a period of time? Or just faulty?**
A: It might be faulty. There's no battery in these; they need to be hooked up to an amp of some kind.  The adhesive might have weakened or the speaker driver could have a short or be defective.

**Q: could these be concealed behind a bookcase or couch (with a gap)? or do they need to be unobstructed?**
A: I think that the only problem would be that the sound will be obstructed but I don’t why you cannot do it.

I haven't put these in their permanent location yet, but I have tried these on several different types of surfaces. I would have to say that I am definitely pleased with my purchase. Note to future buyers, you will definitely need a small Amp or EQ to help get the sound you want out of these. I purchased the small EQ that was recommended and it works well. For supreme sound, I would recommend running these both off of 1 channel and use a slightly bigger driver on the other driver to add more depth in the quality of sound. You don't need a lot of power to push these so they are perfect for camper installations. Added bonus is that most campers are perfect surfaces to amazing sound projections.
