It eliminates a common problem for all connoisseurs of fine distilled spirits: it cools your drink perfectly without the dilution from melting ice. Now all your favorite drinks are able to be served the way they were intended to be, perfectly pure and precisely chilled. Sipping Stones are non-porous meaning there is no odor or taste to tarnish your drink. And unlike ice, Sipping Stones provides a smooth chill that does not overwhelm the character of your beverage. Each set of Sipping Stones comes with nine finely crafted cubes made from soapstone, a safe alternative to ice. Sipping Stones is a great gift for anyone who loves the perfectly chilled beverage. Or you can use it as a conversation starter at your next party. Simply keep the Sipping Stones in your freezer until you are ready to chill your favorite drink, alcoholic or otherwise. Use: Rinse before first usage then place in your freezer until the stones are as cold as desired. When ready, add two or three stones to your glass. Fill the glass with enough liquid to cover the stones. Let the drink sit for a few minutes to allow the stones to chill your drink. After use, simply rinse and allow the stones to dry before returning them to your freezer. Never chew or attempt to eat. About Soapstone: Known for its ability to maintain a temperature for long periods of time, natural soapstone is listed as Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) by the FDA. Soapstone is made up of talc which will not react to water, alcohol and or other drinks. If used with care, soapstone will not scratch your glasses. Proper Usage: Sipping Stones are not meant to cool as a drink as quickly or as much as ice. They are intended to provide a slight chill-between 8 and 15 degrees-that will protect the taste without drowning the quality. ## Features - Includes 18 Grey Sipping Stones Made from 100% Natural Soapstone - Also Includes Muslin Carrying Case and Serving Tongs - Chill Your Drink with No Dilution, Preserve the Taste of your Favorite Drink - Store in Your Freezer, Ready to Use in Just Hours - Perfect As A Gift or for Your Next Cocktail Party ## Images ![Sipping Stones Whisky Rocks - Set of 18 Pure Soapstone Whiskey Chilling Stones in Gift Box with Pouch and Tongs - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/412IbbzGbeL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Almost 18 arrived *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States on December 14, 2021* I bought two of these. It says that 18 are in the package. One arrived complete and intact. The other arrived opened and with 3 stones missing. Would've given this a four star, but I'll be taking a star back for incomplete delivery. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Great for cooling your Scotch *by L***N on Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2013* I like to drink lots of different types of scotch, and I like my scotch cool most times but don't want to water it down. I bought the 18 pack so I had enough for a few people to use. I looked at a lot of reviews and saw that some people didn't think they cooled down the drink or some said it left a residue. I washed the rocks before I used them and cleaned out the inside of the bag. I placed them in the freezer and the next day I used 5 rocks with some 18 year old Chivas. I waited about a couple of minutes and it had chilled the scotch and did not change the flavor saw any residue. The rocks kept my drink cool but if you wanted to cool down a large drink or wanted to refill your drink a few times you may have to add a few more. I like them and glad I bought them. I also purchased at the same time some ice spheres and I like them better than just using standard ice cubes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Keeps my whisky cold without watering it down *by J***B on Reviewed in the United States on March 6, 2014* These stones work great. Putting them in the freezer damp is supposed to keep them cold longer, but i keep putting mine away wet and they all freeze together. :) I couldn't find any information on whether or not these particular stones were safe to use in the microwave (for hot drinks), so DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. I tried a couple in the microwave and mine didn't spark, which I hear happens when there are impurities in the stones. Overall, a great price for a great product. I've used them with several different beverages and they are always clean with a rinse. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/1827111-sipping-stones-whisky-rocks-set-of-18-pure-soapstone-whiskey](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/1827111-sipping-stones-whisky-rocks-set-of-18-pure-soapstone-whiskey) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
