Not as big as commercial buffet counter spoons, but significantly larger than the serving spoons that come with home cutlery sets. 2) The spoon part is more rounded (wider) than an eating spoon or typical counter spoon, which is perfect for scooping stuff out of a serving pan. 3) The flat part on the end of the handle makes it much easier to scoop without the spoon handle spinning in your hand.
