We do keep it up out of reach and only bring it down for play a couple of times a day, but it's now lasted over a week despite fierce tug of war battles and the odd chew, which is a record for a soft toy! It's also his absolute favourite toy - he'll pick up another toy to entice you to play then drop it and gaze longingly at his beach ball until I bring it down! So far there's 1 small tooth hole in the fur, but it's not gone through the mesh inside and looks pretty much as it did when we got it. My only issues are that it's a little tricky to play tug with it due to the shape and it gets sodden with dog drool so needs regular washing and drying, but that's to be expected. So far, I'm very impressed with how it's stood up and how popular it's been! A lot of toys have a squeaker but they are usually just one small one and dog can't squeak the toy.** A: I believe there is only on squeaker which is hard for our dog to squeak since the ball is so big.
