Review: tasty and not too sweet - The packages arrived in good shape. I ordered in winter, so none were melted. They were not out of date and tasted nice and fresh. The alcohol is strong and the chocolate is dark. They are more of a bitter-sweet which is a nice alternative to the cloyingly sweet sugar and syrup filled variety commonly found in the USA.

### ⭐ Dried out! Don’t buy in off seasons!

When I purchased these, we ate a couple of the chocolates right away. They were dried out. Means no liquor in the middle with the cherry. We get this very often, mostly when in Europe. Long story short, I bought a couple boxes of and they were all dried out, chocolate sunken in. Appearance of chocolates was not good as they were dried out. Quite expensive compared to local international stores, but did not feel like driving to them at that particular time. Key is, they are seasonal, and there is a reason you don’t find them on store shelves in Europe in off season, aka spring summer fall. They are reintroduced in late fall through winter and sell out in early spring. Lesson learned. These did not taste good for the above reasons.
