If you want something you can REALLY USE in an emergency with only a LITTLE BIT of ANY scraps you can find or cut - this is the stove. The base ring makes it EXTREMELY stable. It is NOT going to tip over. The top ring holds HUGE PANS, dutch ovens, etc. or little pots / pans. This is SUPER sturdy. Those rings and rods are not "decorations" or "pot rings" - they are STRONG!!! I would not consider a BOB system complete without this EZY STOVE and a KELLY KETTLE. Get yourself a couple of silky saws and a pair of fiskars loppers to cut little wood without all that chopping and you're all set.
