It was more expensive than the other barres I was looking at, but I needed something ASAP and this was was ready to ship. It looks good, it's lightweight, and its fairly simple to put together. There are two things I do not like about this barre: (1) the texture of the barre itself, and (2) the base of the barre. The texture of the wood is smooth, but chalky feeling. It's not rough to be worried about splinters or anything, but it feels like it needs to be polished. Not a huge deal, but something to note. However, I would certainly expect the base to be more stable. The barre is NOT wobbly and my daughter feels secure while using it. But the leg base becomes knocked out of place every time we move it. A gentle kick or nudge in the right direction fixes the problem, but for the price, I want that to be a little more solid. Overall, it's a decent buy. I'm neither satisfied or unsatisfied.
