## Description

59014457 Cy-Kick CS Pest Control Insecticide 16 oz Pint

Review: Fantastic - Mix this in with regular insecticide and it has no problem taking care of spiders, scorpions, ants, roaches, you name it. I spray generally once a month around the house and have never had a live scorpion inside since. No scents and easy to use.
Review: Serious Scorpion Killer - Background: Just moved to Queen Creek, AZ. We have 1.25 acres and 50+ citrus trees on our lot. The house was vacant for at least a month before we moved in. It's super hot and we're in the beginning of the heat of the summer. Long-short, perfect scenario for scorpions. We saw a decent sized lobster on the final walk thru so figured there was a lot more where that came from. I got ahead of the game and purchased Cy-Kick after reading raving reviews. I'm starting with 5 stars and will let you know how things progress. I'm hoping it does the job. Day 1: spotted two scorpions during the day while moving before spraying Cy-Kick. I used a no stain spot kill scorpion spray and hammacher schlemner bug vac to dispose to avoid splattering scorpion guts on my carpet/walls. After moving most of our belongings in this house I started spraying Cy-Kick. I sprayed all along the interior along the baseboards, about two feet up the walls, the window sills and the vents. I sprayed the exterior as well, all the way around, with a heavier spray at the base of the house (corner where house meets the ground - they hide in these crevices). It was business as usual until nightime. Night 1: As you know, scorpions hunt at night. In the house we saw about 4 large scorpions. It was no fun! 3 of them were on the ground and moving pretty slow. 1 was dead on the ground. And for the first time we saw one roach YUCK! Outside, roaches and scorpions were pretty much scurrying everywhere. Some where dead and others were moving around albeit slowly. We used a bug spray that kills on contact to make sure anything that was moving around was dead. Here's my theory. When you spray this stuff, expect to see a bunch of bug activity, like they all come out of hiding as if their house or hiding spots have become uninhabitable. My hope is that tomorrow we don't see as much or any activity meaning they're dead. I will let you know. Day 2: We've seen 2 scorpions today. One was bigger and the common places we've seen them are in closets, bathrooms, close to the baseboards. The babies are harder to see but we have a monster mag blacklight that makes for easier hunting (a necessary tool). The ones we found both weren't moving fast but we're alive. We have a detached garage and a shed. Saw scorpions last night while hunting on the lower part of the outside wall. They seem to hang out where the wall meets the ground and maybe 2-4 feet up. My approach is to follow up with Cy-Kick spray next day in places I see scorpions hanging out. Night 2: No scorpions in the house after thorough sweep with blacklight in entire house. Relief! No activity on the south, west of the house. I did see a bunch of activity on the south garage/shed walls. But that seems to fit the bill, when you spray they come out of hiding and move slowly. As for the North and South sides of the house I had quite a bit of activity on the north wall and along the retention bricks at the edge of the patio. Small section though, spot killed what I could find and they were moving a little faster than the others. Tomorrow I will spray that final section with Cy Kick and hopefully we won't find any others lurking inside our right outside our house moving foward. This is where I say good bye folks. I'm assuming that this stuff works based on my experience so far. If for some reason, we start finding them again in the house you will hear from me. I'm relieved! Just know that when you first spray a lot of bugs including scorpions are gonna come out of hiding and you will have a bug apocalypse within 24 hrs where you spray. You're gonna see scorpions immediately after spraying. If they're moving slow you know it's working. If you have questions please feel free to ping me. Otherwise, be cool - be safe - be scorpion free

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does this kill brown recluse spiders???**
A: Brown recluse can hold their breathe for two months making it resistant through spiracle-ingested pesticides. Brown recluse requires special treatment. I'm an exterminator

**Q: What type of applicator do I need to use to apply this to a small apartment? Can a spray bottle work?**
A: This is an old post but for those that are still looking for more answers, here's one more. I've been using Cy-kick CS for years. I mix the solution in a gallon pump sprayer to spray inside and outside my home. But roaches do fly, and once in a while, they fly inside the house. This is why I keep a solution of Cy-kick in a 32oz spray bottle to go after them. You can do the same for small apartment or areas. Mix 1/2 oz of Cy-kick and fill up the 32oz spray bottle with water. Always shake well before using it.

**Q: It's been 24 hours and the trail of ants is as strong as ever. How long?**
A: How much did you use? 1 oz per gallon? For something like that I'd probably double the dosage. 2 oz per gallon of water. If that doesn't work im not sure. When killing scorpions here in Arizona I actually tripple the dosage. 3 oz per gallon. Good luck

**Q: Is this solution supposed to be diluted with water? Can you please tell me what the ratio is?**
A: 2oz product mix with 1 gallon water. it has instructions provided.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This got rid of the restaurant cockroaches!
*by A***K on September 24, 2020*

My restaurant had a huge headache when some cockroaches started to multiply. We called pest control to deal with them. But the bugs were always there. I was told that we could hardly clear them out even if we spend a lot for the pest control men. By chance we learnt from a YouTuber that this thing will do the job, even though there’re some shortcomings. He suggested to use this as a last ditch effort. For us, however, this is perfect for the commercial place where you don’t need to worry about kids and pets. The way to use it is to spread it along the bottoms of walls, all rooms no gap. Follow the instructions that come with it very carefully because this is very poisonous. If you don’t put enough water it would be too strong, and it would certainly be irritating. A mask or a respirator is necessary while you apply it. Now the best way: set a trap in the middle of the room where most of the bugs reside, usually it’s under the oven hood. A large cupboard box with some narrow inlets will work as a trap, the idea is the bugs will think it’s a safe haven. You spray this at night. Next morning you come and will see nearly all the surviving bugs in this trap. This is what exactly happened to us. We killed all the bugs in the trap and we never see that many ever again. This substance is long lasting: it will be effective for two months or longer. Therefore you can spray it every two months. You can be more aggressive by doing it more often: I actually repeated it in three weeks. We had a moderate problem and I sprayed it for three times only. We can hardly see any bugs since then. For places with more serious problems I would expect a few more spray times. I consider this the ultimate weapon for cockroaches, if you know how to use it.
