Review: Tight fit for your Leatherman wave - It stands alone for quality. I use this and I use the actual Leatherman case as well. I guess it’s a preference on what I carry but quite honestly most of the time I carry the Leatherman case, but I do like the orange as far as functionality. it’s a very tight grip on your Leatherman, which I enjoy. I don’t ever want it coming out. I like it tight!!
Review: Does what it needs to, not the best of the best but durable and worth the $ - I have had many kydex holsters for my handguns and when holstered, they make a very distinctive "click" sound that let's you know they're secure. This holster does not have that. I don't know if it's just because it's a leatherman holster and the tool doesn't have the right grooves to latch onto or if it's a cheaper made product but I miss the sound. Secondly, obviously I know it's not real carbon fiber and it's just a print or a wrap on the kydex, but using this sheath for less than a week and the finish has already chipped and scratched off in two places. Which isn't really a huge deal, it doesn't effect the usage at all but it's a little aggravating for it to happen after less than a week of work with it. I also had to use the file of my leatherman to smooth the top edge of the belt clip because the sharp edge was cutting my hip. The tension and ride height adjustability of kydex holsters and sheaths is a great bonus. Plus, it seems to be more durable than leather or molle. (Though it is a bit more expensive) Pros: Durable Highly adjustable Tool specific (So you know you get a perfect fit) Cons: A bit on the expensive side for a multi-tool sheath Finish wears away easily QA seems to be lacking due to the sharp clip edge. Overall I am happy with the sheath and so far it's been a solid way to carry my leatherman every day. If it holds up for 5+ years, I'll say it was worth the cost. If not, I'd be better off getting another cheap leather one from desertcart for $12 that lasts a couple years. -1/2 star for having to modify the clip myself and -1/2 star for the finish wearing away so fast. Solid 4 star product, would recommend. Edit 01/01/2026: holster has held up great since previous review, I used it literally every day for the last 3 years and I have no complaints, I did have to tighten the tension once or twice, no big deal for me. I got the Wave Alpha for Christmas and I'll be buying another Clip & Carry holster for it. I'll also be getting another for my wife's Leatherman Raptor shears. Great product back up to 5 stars due to long term durability.

**Q: Do you have a sheath that will hold the wave and the bit kit?**
A: Not at this time.

**Q: Can the Configuration be changed and carried and scout fashion**
A: It will not work for scout carry. 
And why would you want to? It’s a leatherman, not a fighting blade

**Q: Will the Leatherman Charge fit into this holder?**
A: No only the wave...idk if they make other holster models. I've seen other people making them too. Keep looking and you'll find what you need

**Q: Is there anything that holds the tool in the sheath? Seems like it would fall out easy if you lay on the ground**
A: Nothing to hold in. But my tool fits tight and never falls out.  Depends which Leatherman you have .  Meaure your tool and check dimensions given in description.  That is what I did.

It stands alone for quality. I use this and I use the actual Leatherman case as well. I have had many kydex holsters for my handguns and when holstered, they make a very distinctive "click" sound that let's you know they're secure. This holster does not have that. I don't know if it's just because it's a leatherman holster and the tool doesn't have the right grooves to latch onto or if it's a cheaper made product but I miss the sound. Secondly, obviously I know it's not real carbon fiber and it's just a print or a wrap on the kydex, but using this sheath for less than a week and the finish has already chipped and scratched off in two places. Which isn't really a huge deal, it doesn't effect the usage at all but it's a little aggravating for it to happen after less than a week of work with it.
