Review: Good shed, okay assembly. - The Lifetime Vertical Storage Shed is a good shed for outdoor storage. It's decently large and should fit a bunch of yard tools and other supplies. I have some yard chairs and garden tools in there. I'm taking off a star due to specific assembly issues. I'm pretty good with assembling furniture and this project is on the low to mid difficulty scale. It says you need two people, but I was able to do it myself. The items and parts were clearly labeled, which is good. One issue I had was that this shed requires a lot of drilling and screwing into plastic. That alone is problematic, but then there were some parts where you had to screw a metal plate into the plastic in precise locations. I had a few occasions where the holes in the metal plate did not line up with the holes or it did not sit flush against the plastic. In the end, I was able to get it to work, but it was problematic. Also, there were a couple of areas where you had to screw directly into metal. Would have been nice if this could just be pre drilled, but based on this assembly, it would have been difficult to have everything line up properly. My assembled shed is functional and sturdy. The doors don't line up and no matter which configuration I try to shim it, it won't line up. So for me, the doors don't open and close perfectly, but I'm okay with that since I'm only storing tools out there. I didn't bother putting the top and bottom deadbolts for the left door. The shelves are a plus but for some reason, the left shelf is not level despite me drilling the support directly in the pre-marked hole. In the end, it does what I want it to do and seems like it will last a good while.

**Q: What Is the floor made of? Can it be put on dirt?**
A: We bought cement tile blocks at Lowe’s made a great floor; you can put it on dirt however it has a nice floor base

**Q: does the drawing has the right dimension or the product information?**
A: I'm so sorry, you're right, that drawing is not correct.  We will have that fixed just as soon as possible.  The actual dimensions of this shed are 27.5 in. D x 53.6 in. W x 67.7 in. H (exterior), and 25.7 in. L x 52.1 in. W x 65.1 in. H (interior).

**Q: What material is roof made of?**
A: Roof material is the same as the sides, hard plastic, but a darker color. Note that the inside of the shed is NOT waterproof, but it could be made so. Once assembled I hosed it down from all angles and some water made it in. I believe you could use 1"x3/8" foam window insulation on the roof during assembly to make it mostly waterproof, but I haven't done that yet myself.

**Q: Does it come with the shelves pictured?**
A: Yes, this includes (2) 30 x 10 Inch shelves.

The Lifetime Vertical Storage Shed is a good shed for outdoor storage. It's decently large and should fit a bunch of yard tools and other supplies. I have some yard chairs and garden tools in there.
