Amazon sells a 7000 watt generator with four 120V 20A three-prong outlets, a twist-lock 120/240V 30A outlet. This should be sufficient to run the welder if you plug it into the generator's 220V outlet. **Q: Will this machine hold a 10 lb spool of wire?** A: Sure. Actually a 8" spool the weights of the spools can vary. **Q: Can this machine run 0.35 wire ?** A: Yes! The machine will run 024, 030, and 035 wire.
