The winder is quiet and easily fits 2 .42MM watches together. I only rated this a 4 out of 5 because I purchased the watch winder last week so I can't comment on the reliability over time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent watchwinder for the price *by A***M on Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2013* I have to admit that I was skeptical about purchasing this unit as some of the reviews weren't very supportive but after a week so far it's been great. The packaging was like other reviews suggested and was lacking at best...just a box with the winder in Styrofoam and a single piece of paper for the instructions...looks like it could have been any company's product and then a Diplomat sticker put on the front. That being said though it's EXTREMELY quite, much more quiet than the one I had previously. This piece sits on my bed side table less than 3 feet from my head and I can't hear it at night when it's turning. I have 3 watches that need winding and I mainly wear one so I have the other two on the two different dials and they have not lost any time in a week (lot more than I can say for the first winder I had). It is a very sharp looking piece. I am a little concerned that over time the acrylic top may get some scratches on it so I have been careful to open it by grabbing the sides or the bottom but that is one of those things that I just expect to happen over time (when I was looking online at some of the descriptions of this piece I couldn't get a definitive if it was acrylic or glass so figured it was acrylic and was correct. the acrylic is covered in a film when it's shipped but just knowing that this is going to be sitting out I have to think that it will eventually get scratched. the one thing that I will say is that since the inserts (part that the watch goes around) are not cushions they aren't very "forgiving" if your watch band is on the smaller size. My wrists aren't very small so they fit around mine okay but if you have small wrists the only way to make the inserts smaller is to remove the carbon fiber outer piece "ring" and go with the all red center beneath it but it doesn't give much so beware if you have small wrists. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars No support if it breaks *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 29, 2015* My wife bought me this item as a birthday present last year. The item is 1 year and 2 months old. For the last year. the unit has worked well. Now, all of a sudden and without any indication as to why, the one side of the winder I was using stopped working. Bad news #1, the warranty is only good for one year which feels light at this price. Bad news #2, I can't find this company online to get a repair, warranty or no warranty. I would discourage anyone from buying an item this expensive that you can't get serviced.
