It needs rinsing in cold water. If you can get past this mentally and physically without recoiling, you’re golden. It’s not ACTUAL FISH, so some of these reviewers need to get a grip. It’s a plant. Now we’ve rinsed and got rid of the stinky smell, we cook. It needs pan cooking to get rid of the excess water, or microwaving for a few minutes. If you put it in your mouth at this point, you’re going to be disappointed. It’s tasteless. But you know what? Add it to a typical meal in place of your pasta or rice, and you’re substituting 400 calories for 15 calories. There it is. There’s the benefit. It’s also super low carb so if you’re keto, this is perhaps an answer to your problems. No longer do you need to eat a curry with no rice/stir fry with no noodles / tomato and basil chicken with no pasta. Yeah, I’ve been there too.
