They are compatible as long as both are mineral oil based. I topped off my Shimano brakes with the Finish Line and have had no problems. The 120 ml bottle is enough to flush both brakes if you want to. **Q: Is this mineral oil compatible with Magura brakes?** A: Magura probably recommends their own fluid, but I would try it. I can't imagine that it would cause a problem. I like it better than Shimano fluid in my Shimano XT brakes. Certainly don't use it in brakes that use DOT fluid. **Q: Is this for mineral oil bicycle hydraulics?** A: Yes. But to be safe, please double check that your brakes use mineral oil.
