A: Yes, it is normal and will loosen with use.

**Q: Can they cut wire?**
A: Cutting wire may damage the blades of the concave cutter.

**Q: How wide of branches can these cut through?**
A: I would say up to 3/8 inches in diameter, it gets weaker by the tip if used for branches 1/2 inches thick.
