I bought the metal attachments separately but find the plastic ones included in this set much better and smoother for her coat, they just glide through. She tolerates this one much better too, lovely cut, adjustable length and yes it’s more expensive but the quality, cut, ease of use and quiet operation easily makes it a valuable purchase. Wish I hadn’t wasted my money on cheaper ones that were noisy and fell apart after 3 uses.

Love this for my working cocker, so much quieter than previous purchases, love the fact there’s 2 batteries so don’t worry about it stopping halfway through. I bought the metal attachments separately but find the plastic ones included in this set much better and smoother for her coat, they just glide through. She tolerates this one much better too, lovely cut, adjustable length and yes it’s more expensive but the quality, cut, ease of use and quiet operation easily makes it a valuable purchase. Wish I hadn’t wasted my money on cheaper ones that were noisy and fell apart after 3 uses.
