The coccyx cushion will add about 1.5-2" in height if you're looking for extra seat height in your car or at your desk and though velvety, is not a sweaty material and has not shown any signs of fading in the sun.It's easy to use and adjust though I am compelled to share more on this so, first time purchasers, won't make the mistake I made.I initially had both pieces on a very wide kitchen chair and was using the lumbar cushion both on the chair and in my car. I wasn't bothering with the clasp on it on the kitchen chair but, securing it for driving. There is an extender for the clasp strap that comes with it but, there were no instructions on the one I got. You'll want to use those extenders when using the straps, which are wrapped separately, even it seems to fit the chair you're using it on, because when adjusting it, which I needed to do getting in and out of a car, the straps will otherwise, not hold up. The cushions are amazing but, the straps require using the extender/s to not snap while adjusting the cushion for regular use.I strongly recommend this product for anyone with back/leg pain while sitting.Item arrived packed well and on time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pain Gone! *by B***Y on April 29, 2022* I don't know how this is supposed to feel. It's my first set of a product like this. I read some of the previous reviews and decided to write a review to share my own experience. I received a set. Everything looks sturdy. The seat part is hard, but maybe that's how it's supposed to be. The back part is ok to me. What I do know is that I had back pain and waist pain from lifting some heaving furniture and cleaning my home for many hours, and as soon as I sat on this cushion set, the pain was gone. When I got up, the pain was there but diminished. This set really helped a lot with pain. I know it's not advertised for that, but that's what happend to me when I used it the very first time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stays Put and Really Helps *by B***S on April 24, 2020* After years of back issues, trying something to minimize pain is always hit or miss. We're nervous about something making pain worse, and typically, we wind up in more pain than when we started. With this being memory foam, we figured, why not. Both of us (hubby and I) are glad we did.Let me take a minute to explain this. It's two separate pieces, a lumbar support and a seat. The seat has a notch for the tailbone, which I needed most. The lumbar has adjustable straps, which is what hubby needed most. We were able to use these on several different chairs, and all of them became more comfortable. The seat has grips to hold it in place, and the lumbar has straps to keep it where you want it. We crossed the straps on some chairs to hold it in place better and keep it right where we wanted it. The base also has a handle, making moving these around where you want them even easier.The long and the short of it is we can both sit on this set and be more comfortable. We are considering buying another because we playfully argue about who gets to use it. It was a great buy, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has struggles with tailbone issues or needs lower back support. The thickness and cushioning of this set is incredible, and it has the option of helping with many situations.
