fit like it should, took about a hour to change out, tailgate now closes snug not loose and rattley.

    Beware. Latch arms were too long.

Everything fit up good, but the control rods were 6 inches too long on both ends, wth? I just stuck with the original rods as they were intact. If you have a 2000 GMC Stepside Sierra like I do and have a missing or bent latch arm then you might want to look at other options because they will be too long. It says they will fit, but do not.

Fits up fine, doesn’t include replacement shoulder bolts for the upper cable mounts so everything looks brand new when you open the gate until your eye catches the only two bolts that the kit didn’t include.  Would be nice if they added the strikers for the latches into this bundle but they are easily found on amazon for a few bucks.  Overall it’s a solid kit.
