This is well-made, is quite versatile and what you get is remarkable for the price. The backgrounds are plastic material, hence very durable and easy to clean. The two roof light strips vary in brightness and colour temperature. It's worth looking at the Samtian videos on Youtube as there were scant instructions, and, whilst they are slightly different models, it gives some ideas. A couple of limitations to be aware of. This is a reasonable size but you might need something bigger if your subject is bigger than, say 20 cm in any direction as you may spoil your shot by getting edges of the background or sides in shot. Also, where the background curves from flat to upright, it can create glare that can be difficult to get rid of in processing. Still, I've had a lot of fun with it and it all folds down neatly when you're done. Excellent value, I'm not sure how they do it, to be honest. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Really good once set up *by I***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 June 2022* As a tool, once set up, it's great and good value for money. The issue I had was the transporting (LED strips and attachments are a bit clumsy and don't fit easily into the folded up carry case) and the set up (the alternate backdrops aren't held in place in any way, they fit into flaps at the top back and bottom front, but gravity just pulls it out of the top flap - I've ended up safety-pinning backdrops in). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Nice for photographer and showing off 3D prints *by G***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 October 2020* I got this thinking I could uses it for two purposes. 1. for its intended purpose and 2. as a makeshift enclosure for my 3D printer. So for its intended purpose its great. I'd mostly be using it for showing off things I've 3D printed, and its the ideal size for that, anything that fits on my 3D printer will fit in here with room to spare. The light tent comes with two LED bar lights that clip onto the enclosure either at the top shining straight down or at an angle, or if you really want to get an even front light picture they can clip on the front of the enclosure and shine directly at the subject. The lights both hook up to the same controller that can adjust the amount of light and the colour temperature from a warm yellowish white all the way to a cool blue light, if you lock the white balance of your camera the resulting images really can look quite different. I imagine I probably use a slightly warm white but its nice to have the option. The inside of the tent is a reflective silver foil, but the kit comes with a number of different coloured backdrops that cover the floor and back wall. Colours supplied are red, blue, peach, grey, black and white, although I imagine I'll probably stick with black or white for anything I do. The backdrops are a fairly stiff plastic sheet that sits with a bit of a curve at the back. I've added a few quick test pictures of a 3D print taken with my phone with everything on auto apart from the white balance which I locked to see the effects of the LED colour temperature. The difference between the black and white backdrops is pretty obvious, but the two white back drop images are taken with about two clicks difference to the colour temperature, the effect is subtle but noticeable. You also get a mini tripod/pistol grip that would do a compact camera but has an attachment for your phone as well, can't really see me using it much as I already have a good mini tripod, but nice that its there if you need it.The second reason I bought this was to use as a makeshift enclosure for my 3D printer, unfortunately its not quite big enough, but not the enclosures fault as I should have checked the measurements before buying.Overall as a light box for photography this is great, anyone selling small objects or jewellery online should have one of these, and if you like showing off your 3D prints its great for that too.
