I was able to get them on though but the way they are made and the narrowing being high up on top of foot, it makes your foot go numb after a short timeIn addition, they are very hard on bottom…zero padding and extremely flat. I have flat feet so this usually wouldnt bother me but they are so hard it feels like walking on planks of wood.Very sad because they are absolutely beautiful to look at. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great pair of boots that "spark joy"... *by P***L on Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2015* Fell in love with these unusual boots and immediately had to have them! This is my third pair of Aquatalias; I bought my first pair (full price!) nearly six years ago and still wear them to this day. I can see why the other reviewer had problems; these boots are not supportive like my other two pairs (which have heels + platform), and there is absolutely no cushioning whatsoever. If you expect them to be comfort shoes, you WILL be disappointed! (No disrespect meant; I wear comfort shoes myself.) That said, I didn't find them to be uncomfortable at all and wore them with ease all day long the first time I put them on. (I have high arches and average to slightly wide feet.) And of course there is the glam factor-- these boots stand out, and I've gotten tons of compliments. A month ago I did the KonMari tidying method on my closet, following Marie Kondo's advice to get rid of anything that didn't "spark joy". I now use that as my guideline for anything new, and these boots-- especially at the sale price-- most definitely spark joy! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surprisingly comfortable!
