These work very well. I have used the same one for many, many years. The only issue I have ever had was that one of the suction cups fell off and was lost. Luckily, the manufacturer sells (on Amazon) replacement suction cups so it was an easy fix. The cups are made of soft enough rubber so that it is easy to pick up even the smallest pieces of trash. They grip the trash sturdily but the handle pull is not too hard to pull. They also have a good sized width so it is easy to pick up trash as large as wine bottles (my neighbors must drink a lot).
