Because I use an extended 36" extended selfie stick that could stress the mounting point, I wanted a simple secure mount that had the fewest points of failure. This mount does the job and looks to be very strong.One thing to note before purchasing is that once it is mounted it does not swivel side-to-side and tilt like the more complicated mounts. In my view this makes it stronger and it is what I wanted. You can tilt it forward and back when mounting on the handlebar, but once mounted, it stays in that position unless you loosen the nuts and adjust it forward or back.As noted by others, when mounted on smooth unwrapped handlebars the mount may have a tendency to lose grip and rotate a little on the handlebar, particularly if you are mounting a camera up high on a selfie stick. In my opinion the mount is fine for cameras particularly when mounted down low, but isn't secure enough for heavy objects mounted up high on an extended pole.My solution to the tendency to slip was to 1) wrap a single layer of electrical tape around the handlebar to provide a good gripping surface, 2) remove the foam pads and spread a generous layer of white glue on both sides of the pads and on the electrical tape, and 3) reassemble and let the glue dry for a day. Since I secured it this way it hasn't slipped.I would buy this mount again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I ride my bike more now! *by K***S on Reviewed in the United States on April 6, 2022* I can attach my Insta360 camera directly to this mount or use it with the invisible selfie stick.
