I would be careful if using this, if you have concerns I think there is a telephone number or company name is on the bottle. I would either ring them or google answer on the net. The pellets are made of natural ingredients - iron. When the pellets get wet in the rain, and start to break down, just like most “food” it goes mouldy! The mould isn’t dangerous to the plants etc. As someone else mentioned, just fork them into the soil slightly. The slugs don’t eat them anyway: the pellets dissolve into the earth depositing lots of iron on the surface -the slugs crawl over the earth and the iron gets absorbed through their bodies, causing them to die of an iron overdose. Don’t bury the pellets too deep or they won’t work, but if the mould bothers you, just turn the earth over very slightly. **Q: £14.99 delivery for prime members????** A: We are just a regular market place seller, not a prime seller.
