It doesn't seem to twist or have a push option to advance it and you can't sharpen the pencil so how does it work?** A: You can sharpen the pencil. It didn't work with one of my sharpeners but it worked with another one. As a former smoker(I have not smoked in 25 years), I have the vertical lip lines to show for it. First I use some concealer on my lips and rub in, then line my lips with pencil. You can use lipliner or not as you please, then apply lipstick! I don’t use a very creamy lipstick because they tend to bleed, but this pencil pretty much lasts all day for me.
