Taste like Welch's grape juice in a candy chew. You really have to chew them for a good bit before they dissolve which is perfect for the Bariatric regimen. I was considering Bariatric surgery but chickened out which is how I discovered about Bariatric vitamins which are much higher quality than your regular over the counter stuff. It's absorbed by your body more efficiently and helps with your metabolism better too. Personally I take these because I have a low red blood cell count and a really low iron. These help me feel better. I am also on Thyroid medication and my Endocrinologist says I should never take these with my Levothyroxine, Thyroid meds as iron deactivates the absorption of the Thyroid medication. And my primary care doc says you should take iron only after not eating anything for a couple of hours before and nothing by mouth for 2 hours after for maximum absorption and benefit. I take my Thyroid pills when I first get up and don't eat for an hour after. I chew these right before bedtime at least 2 hours past my supper.
