The seals work very effectively so there is no loss of fragrance while stored, and being light weight the bags will stand upright where ever you choose to keep them saving the need for a separate storage container.The fragrance is very pleasant and subtly different to the Lavender I grow in my garden.Tried as a potpourri in my lounge but there was no discernible fragrance unless you sniffed the bowl up close.Tried as a Herbal Tea as suggested on the product page. ( How to do this is not described on the packaging, maybe that could be added). A teaspoon of buds added to a mug of water off the boil. The resultant infusion was a tad bitter but very palatable after adding a half teaspoon of sugar. The steam rising from the cup released a pleasant fragrance into the room. ( Use a teaball, although most of the lavender sank some remained floating on the surface ).Added a quantity, 20g, to a home made cotton sachet (re-purposed section from an old T-shirt for this) and placed inside my pillow case. The heat and movement of my on the pillow produced a subtle, very pleasant Lavender fragrance, being a 100% completely natural product it is much nicer than artificial fabric softeners produce .I have not tried cooking with this product as I do not have any recipes that require it.I personally would not spend the current price on Lavender buds however it is a very versatile product and a little goes a long way. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Multiple use dried lavender *by D***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 August 2020* PROS:1) Good value for money2) Resealable packaging3) Good quality buds4) Multitude of uses from cooking to relaxationCONS: NONEAs the advert states correctly, the French use Lavender as a herb in some of their dishes. In the UK, it’s more associated with fragrances and pot pouri than as an edible plant. In truth, my wife and I are using this as a natural and more aromatically pleasing alternative to naphthalene smell from mothballs. I haven’t had the best luck with food moths, the sort that eat your clothes. When I lived in London, these little B******s ate their way through a Burberry Camel coat, a Versace suit and countless other items of clothing. Living in the countryside now, I need to be more vigilant, and my wife introduced me to the moth repellant features of lavender. To date, the moths haven’t eaten anything, yet....This lavender comes sealed in a resealable pouch. I haven’t tried it for any other use than repelling moths, though I am positive it won’t be long before my wife uses it in other ways.As a moth repellant, I highly recommend this product.
