Downloading of applications off various app stores was a breeze and the picture quality on my OLED tv streaming from this device is outstanding. With 4 gbs of RAM and 64 gbs of internal memory, this android box has ample processing power and storage. This device also has a nice feature of a root switch, which can be turned on or off. This device also has excellent cooling due to numerous air vents on the sides and bottom of the box. n my experience, there are much more nice streaming sources available for android operating systems than PC or Mac, which tend to be quite restrictive. Unless you have a smart tv that has an open android os that accepts installation of most available applications, I would heartily recommend using a separate android device like this one.Update - 2/7/2021 This android box has continued with flawless streaming performance since I bought it. Apps and apks download and function smoothly with all the internal memory and RAM. There is no problem with freeze ups, buffering, etc with my unit and the external antenna allows for a strong connection to WiFi. As well as being able to support 4K playback of files as well as streaming. However there are some problems. The HDD drive support is for SSD’s only!! The regular 2.5” HDD’s do not fit. The cover won’t close. Regular HDD too thick. Would it hurt to be SPECIFIC?!?! The power button on the included remote does not work! Have tried other remotes & it does not work. Have to use the air mouse to turn off. Can’t use sleep mode because the air mouse immediately wakes it up once you hit the power. The settings menus are stupid. Two settings menu?! That’s dumb! I’ve spent money on a HDD THAT DOESNT FIT & another remote where the power button has the same issues. I’m disappointed in the overall experience. I’m just gonna have to leave the android boxes alone. Getting one with mass storage (internal) options and decent programming is obviously not available. Everything is specifically geared for streaming when it comes to these devices. I actually want to store my libraries and enjoy them.
