A: Hi, yes it does.

**Q: Does this need a power supply? if yes. does it come with one?**
A: Dear Customer,
To ensure the streaming quality, we strongly recommend connecting the device to an external 5V/2A charger, which is not included in the packaging. Connects EZCast Ultra to the USB port of your TV may cause damages to the device due to unstable power supply.

**Q: can i extend my old macbook pro display to an external 4k monitor using the full 4k resolution of the external display on macosx 10.13 high sierra?**
A: Ultra does not support Airplay in 4K resolution. you can do local video,  photo streaming in 4K but Airplay mirror or extend is not supported at this moment.
