Maybe the ball was too big for his mouth but he didn't really care to play with the ball even with food inside. Instead he pulled by the rope. With all the pulling and biting. He tore through it on the second day.That being said the reason he tore it was because he was able to pull for a long time which says a lot about the suction of the toy. Suction is great. Worked both indoors and outdoors on smooth tile like surfaces. If you know your dog will pull by the rope then I'd say go for it! this is a great investment. Otherwise, it's just okay.Although it's now broken I am able to use the ball component.
