Review: better quality, very accurate - i got these to teach my nephews map and compass. the first thing we did was to place the compass on a compass prover i made some months back. i was really surprised to see that one of them is .5 of a degree out, the other was on the money. my opinion, this is a great value for beginner or someone not looking to spend a ton of money on something that will be used for back packing but wants a quality, trustworthy instrument. i would trust it with land nav in a heart beat.
