I had been using a .25 and wanted to get a .5 and 1. This kit has all 3. When I used my original .25 it was no problem, no marks no blood. The .5 definitely goes deeper so go slow and careful. I made a few marks the first time using the .5, they disappear in a few days. I'm used to it now and like it. I use a vitamin C serum with Hyaluronic before and after treatment. The 1. is only for the body NOT the face, don't even think about it.As far as results I feel my face has a better the texture and feels tighter, although I haven't seen any amazing disappearance of wrinkles.
