It was fairly easy to assemble, after I realized that I needed to assemble all nuts & bolts and THEN tighten them down. I used the saucer swing to replace an "old-school" belt swing which was showing some wear. We try to limit the combined weight to about 200 pounds, but we have seen 7 small kids, ages 2-5, on this swing and plenty of room and not afraid of it breaking. My wife and I have taken gentle swings together on it, and my weight alone exceeds 200 pounds.
