It seems to stay put at the bottom-no rolling up-and the top is adjustable around your ribs, quite a bit. It's soft and doesn't feel warm and uncomfortable when being in the heat. It looks bunchy & like burlap material from the photo, so I was pleasantly surprised at how much thinner it is. My other option was to buy a band I liked and buy fabric, but it was working out to be almost the same amount of money. I’m glad I purchased it. The only recommendation I would make would be to change the photo to better represent the product (hence the 4star review).
