A little goes a long way; the bottle will last me a long time. The smell is a bit medicinal but not too bad. I also use the My True Nature fragrance free shampoo and my hair is clean without being weighed down with an extra film of products. I like the more natural/organic ingredients and less of the bad stuff (no parabens, no petrochemicals . . ..). Is it the best there is? It is natural, no smell and works. I mix it in a spray bottle with water. Best of all its safe to use on my horse. My horse's mane is so long and thick, he gets dreadlocks. So difficult to remove. I'v tried other detanglers and conditioners, that did not work. This WORKS and does not take much.
