    Simple idea, almost there; couple issues

Originally bought from Thinkgeek. They stopped stocking them for whatever reason at some point. Winter broke it, I had to search for them once again!  I like the idea of something like this, but the execution still needs some work. I'm not sure how to improve it, given the options it's got. A small shovel, a brush for the car, and reflectors on the end for night-time visibility!The metal bits that you have to pinch to slide out are a bit tough to get going, especially in the winter, whether bare handed or wearing gloves. That and the ultra-precise 'guides' you have to put the brush into to put it back together.

So unfortunately my shovel broke, well not the shovel the brush section broke off from the handle/stick section.  For some reason the brush is not a solid piece connected to the handle.  I was shoveling light fluffy snow Tuesday in NJ and it broke...I have requested a return so hopefully this one was just defective and the new one will last longer than 5 minutes...

I wanted to like this tool, sadly the plastic is just too light and thin, offering a shovel that cannot really handle heavy amounts of snow. In addition the ice scraper function is lackluster. This tool just feels a little cheap and underdeveloped.
