The clear ones seem to be particularly vulnerable to breaking. But, I honestly don't care because they're so affordable. Besides that, I have a use for the broken pieces anyway. I usually take them and squish them into smaller pieces and mix them in with my potting soil to help during dry times when I might not be able to water my outdoor potted plants as frequently as they need.
