I like to put them on the ends of my windows like you see here and then fill in the middle with sheers. They would go with ivory or white sheers. Since they are grommets you could put an inexpensive white blackout curtain behind it and thread them both through giving you a substantial curtain for not a lot of money. You would have to be sure they measured the same width, though.
