Excellent for window coverings if you need to stop the heat from sunlight coming in, such as on campers. With direct sunlight beaming into a large window, this product blocked 99% of the sun's light. I can see a faint purplish glow if I looked real hard. Due to the middle layer being a type of foam insulation, it practically eliminated the heat coming in from the sunlight and the outside weather. It was also very easy to cut with scissors. This product is worth the money I spent. Prior to use, the camper internal temperature was around 85 with the A/C on in Alabama, now it easily keeps at a constant 68 degrees. Review: Easy to cut and install - I wish it had been adhesive backed but some sprayed on glue fixed that.
