I took it to share with friends and we used this one up first. It's still heavier than the better chemical-based sunscreens on the market but really is great for mineral. This one also felt the least gross after being in the water (pool, ocean). It's also a little hard to wash off in the shower but is perhaps not a bad thing in terms of its effectiveness over hours in the day. Just a note, since mineral sunscreens use a physical barrier rather than a chemical barrier, the heavier the SPF, the thicker the lotion and whiter the cast. 30 SPF seems to be the sweet spot with this brand. Review: No white residue - I put this sunscreen on immediately after it was delivered. It smells so good & goes on smoothly without any white residue. It seems to protect the skin, but then again I put some on every hour on the hour and didn't have any issues. I will be reordering.
