This helps to capture dirt and dust and I’m not sure why it’s done originally but it’s a very popular method to do with sponge materials, not the Fabric, cloth or paper kindIt looks just like the original and the plastic fit just like the original and overall everything is like original so I was very happy. It was an easy fit to start up on the pull with no problem. Highly recommend considering you get free shipping and a great price for two.
