The first day I wore these (after washing them) the waist band about wore my hips out. The thread they use is abrasive, sharp, and scratchy to no end. My girlfriend sewed in a fabric cover of sorts to protect my skin from the sharp stitching. The pants are now one of my favorite. The kicker is, that even when I tucked a shirt in, the pants wouldn't hold the shirt very well, and before I knew it, I was getting scratched up by the thread again.
