This set I find cleans my tongue perfectly. One side is smooth and I use this for my tongue and sides of tongue. For extra cleaning I use the side with the ridge in the center. Both are quite effective and my tongue comes out very clean...it takes off all the white ikky stuff. I also use a WaterPik Flosser and Listerine and brush, floss and clean my tongue three times daily. I went from pockets of 3s and 4s to 1s and 2s because of this. My dentist and hygienist both agree my dental health now is excellent.What I like the most is that this set is easy to clean under VERY HOT WATER. I also have a one half water, one half alcohol sprayer that I use and spray it daily. Then I wipe with a clean towel. Because it sits in my bathroom utensil holder, I rinse it with hot water before each use as well.This is perfect set, one for home, one for travel and at a low cost.Highly recommended! ### ⭐ TOO SHARP!! *by J***N on October 1, 2016* My last tongue scraper broke and I was looking for a replacement.
