**Q: Are these paints lightfast?**
A: They are quality acrylic-based paints. For longer life, they can be covered with UV varnish

**Q: Can you paint shoes with them?**
A: You'd need to base coat a gloss black first, then airbrush the vallejo colours on and apply a gloss varnish coat over the top afterwards. Havent tried it on shoes myself so couldnt share results, but they come out excellent on minature models.

**Q: Guys I want to use these on my d&d & warhammer figures can they be used without an airbrush? Any tips?**
A: I’ve had them for a while and enjoy them. I’ve never used them in an airbrush to date, even though I have one (or two!) just apply thinly in light layers, building to the level you want.

These are great - easy to airbrush and get good coverage on the model. I have only tried two of the six colours, but the results are consistent so far. They do require a satin or gloss black base for the colours to show, however. I used one coat of Vallejo Gloss Black primer over a coat of regular automotive primer for my purposes.The colour changing effect has plenty of variance given the lighting and viewing angles. I am new to using an airbrush, but the results definitely impressed me.

The shimmer particles are finer than TurboDorks own motherlode paint, and have been using these on my minis to add shimmer to wings. Comes with a nice variety, but using a brush you definitely need to do a few layers if you want a thick shimmer
