This is for an in-ground pool ok. you turn off you pool pump and set this on top of your basket, attached a hose to it (15 x 2x2 inches) I got an extension since my vacuum hose was short. I got the Milliard pool vacuum hose - 5 hoses for pool/spa cleaners. Make sure to let water in on your vacuum hose , drop in the pool and turn on your pump. this its all. its very simple and does a great job. **Q: can I use this with the SP1096? If not, can you tell me which one is compatible?** A: It does work very well. Does not create enough seal to have good suction. It is a waste of money **Q: What does the rubber gasket look like and where can I get one?** A: I do not know where to get it.
