I always wash everything before using and I didn't even inspect the seams, I just put it in the washer. When I went to put it on my bed I found that the seams at 2 of the corners were not properly sewn together; the stitching did not hold the two sides of material together and there was a huge hole in the seam at both corners. At this point I couldn't see returning it; I may have if I hadn't already washed the sheet. Luckily I have a sewing machine and I just fixed the problem; but I didn't need the aggravation. And it barely fit my mattress even-though my mattress is only 6 inches high. I'm so glad I only bought one sheet--I will never buy this brand again!The one positive is that the material is really nice and soft. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Snuggly flannel sheet comfortable Season Round *by L***D on Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2017* Very comfortable since 100% cotton, but after one washing... it's starting to "pill" and be a little worn looking. I know the thread -count is low (not sure what it is though).... but the flannel "snuggly" feel still makes me glad I purchased it. And I like just being able to buy the fitted one (which easily fit my deep QN mattress... and buy it as a "single".... not a set.
