A: It pops out easily. I used a butter knife to dislodge the plug.

A: Well, I would hesitate to say. But consider where it’s manufactured and make your best decision. I use mine for succulents.

Was excited at first to order this for my herbs but when it arrived, I realized it was too small. It might be great for small/baby succulents with shallow roots. I wouldn't recommend it for herbs that tends to need a depth of at least 6" and above ground space of at least 3" circumference. Even then, I do have baby succulents that I need to pot up and will use it for that. There is a black plug for the drain hole but I removed it for better drainage for the succulents. It feels strong and the material is thick so I hope it can withstand being out in the sun and all types of weather. This was an okay purchase but I wouldn't jump on this one unless you need a small and shallow tray for baby succulents.
